To assign a lesson, you'll take the student link you copied from the lesson page and go to your Teams account and choose how you want to share it with your students. You can share in a chat, your stream, or as an assignment.
You can find the step-by-step directions for creating an assignment in Microsoft Teams' on their website.
Include worksheets and assessments after you've created the assignment
Most of the lessons we offer include a worksheet that allows students to document their learning progress as part of an activity, as well as lesson and unit assessments to gauge learning comprehension. We recommend using Microsoft OneNote to assign worksheets and assessments to students. OneNote allows you to upload a Mystery Science PDF as a handout. Students will be able to write or draw on top of the PDF and submit their work.
Start by downloading the worksheet or assessment as a PDF
Click on the name of the unit and lesson that you want to assign. Once you're on the lesson home page, scroll down to the Activity Prep section below the video and look for any worksheets listed in the supplies list.
Click on the name of the printout to open a document viewer where you will have the option to either [Print] the worksheet or use the [Download] button.
Upload the PDF into OneNote for students to complete the worksheet or assessment
You can find the step-by-step directions for uploading a PDF in OneNote for your students to edit on the Microsoft website.
As another option, you can print out worksheets and assessments or attach a printable PDF for parents/guardians to print at home.
