Absolutely! We work with homeschool charter schools all the time, and it's quite simple for you to have your families purchase Mystery Science memberships. If you have less than 100 families purchasing, then the process below is what they need to follow. If you have 100 or more families purchasing, please contact us and we can set up a custom group buy.
Please follow these steps to get set up:
- Sign up for a free trial: Each family can first sign up for a free homeschool trial here using their own email address.
- If they've already had a free trial, then they need to create a price quote here using the parent's name and email address - please note, this must be the parent email address as we don't allow student accounts.
- The family then clicks the "Email" button to send the quote to their homeschool charter.
- The charter then submits payment online using the "Pay with credit card" button on the quote (if charter needs to submit a PO, they can email it to po@mysteryscience.com or fax to 801-335-1343.)
Below, you can find this process in more detail with step-by-step instructions and screenshots, to help clarify the purchasing process.
*Families should already be logged into their existing Mystery Science homeschool account prior to creating a homeschool membership quote. (Please note, if they are not logged into their existing homeschool account, they will not see the same options shown below.)
Once logged in, families should visit our pricing page and scroll down until they see "Homeschooling?", then click on "See Pricing".
A pop-up will appear with our Homeschool Membership Pricing. Families should then look for the line that reads "Homeschool Charter Schools" and click on the purple link that says "this price quote" to view their homeschool membership quote.
They will then be taken to a page with the heading "Create a New Price Quote". Families should click on the "Create homeschool quote" button.
A homeschool membership quote will then appear and they will be able to click on the "Email" button to share that quote with the charter school.
