Unit Split - Stars & The Solar System

The Stars & The Solar System unit is now split into the Earth & Space Patterns unit and the Stars & Planets unit.

Why was this unit split?

This unit included 8 lessons so we decided to split the lessons into two units so that each unit can more fully address specific aspects of space science in a more focused way. By breaking the units into shorter overall lengths, we make it easier for teachers to fit whole units into their schedules. It also surfaces lessons that were effectively buried at the end of a long sequence. We will also be able to create a new Anchor Layer for the new unit.
