You can share the video with your students using many different platforms, including Microsoft Teams. Here's how:
On a PC
Using macOS
Please consult your organization's IT department to make sure you have the necessary software downloaded. Once that software is installed, you'll see a notification at the top of your meeting controls. You might need to pause or play your video content to start sharing sound or try the "Include computer sound" switch on the top left of your sharing options.
You can also choose to include sound (or stop sharing) after you've already begun sharing your screen. Just select "Include computer sound" in the sharing controls near the top of the window.
We generally recommend that students are given student links so that they can access lessons and mini-lessons directly. Many teachers report success in having students watch lessons and mini-lessons on their own systems, while still participating in an online session.
Additionally, please keep in mind if you have a large number of students on your call, or if you don't have a strong internet connection, it is not uncommon for users to have sound or video issues.
For more detailed troubleshooting options, we suggest checking out the Microsoft support website under the section "Share sound from your computer in a Teams meeting or live event."
